We built the AI coaching app we always wished existed — one that covers every sport, every exercise, and every athlete, not just the ones that were easiest to build for.
SportsReflector uses computer vision and biomechanics AI to give every athlete access to the kind of detailed technique feedback that used to require a professional coach standing next to you.
SportsReflector was born from a simple frustration: why does every AI sports coaching app only cover one sport? If you play basketball, there's HomeCourt. If you play tennis, there's SwingVision. If you box, there's FightCamp. But what about the athlete who lifts weights on Monday, plays basketball on Wednesday, and does yoga on Friday? What about the high school athlete who plays three sports a year? What about the adult recreational athlete who just wants to know if their squat form is going to hurt their knees?
The answer, until SportsReflector, was: nothing. You either hired a personal trainer, paid for a sport-specific subscription for each discipline, or you just guessed. Most people guessed — and most people developed bad habits that slowed their progress or, worse, led to preventable injuries.
We started building SportsReflector in 2023 with a clear mission: create a single AI coaching platform that works across every sport and every gym exercise, delivers analysis in under three seconds, and makes professional-grade technique feedback accessible to every athlete regardless of their budget or location. We launched on the App Store in 2024 with six sports and a basic form scoring engine. The response was immediate and clear — athletes wanted this, and they wanted more of it.
By 2025, we had expanded to 20+ sports and 99 gym exercises, added AR drill guidance that overlays movement cues directly on your camera feed, and introduced multi-angle analysis so athletes could combine front, side, and rear camera views for a complete biomechanical picture. We added the Coach Dashboard for trainers managing teams, the practice plan builder for structured programming, and injury risk flagging to help athletes train smarter and stay healthy longer.
Today, more than 50,000 athletes worldwide use SportsReflector to analyze their technique, track their progress, and improve faster than they could with traditional coaching alone. Our computer vision model achieves 94.4% landmark accuracy in identifying form deviations — validated against expert coaching assessments across all supported sports. We hold a 4.8-star rating on the App Store, and we're just getting started.
The global AI sports technology market is growing at over 25% annually, and we believe the next decade will see AI coaching become as standard as GPS navigation — something every athlete uses without thinking twice. SportsReflector is building toward that future, one form score at a time.
"To give every athlete — regardless of sport, level, or budget — access to the precise, personalized technique feedback that was previously only available to elite professionals with full-time coaching staff."
Elite athletes have always had access to video analysis, biomechanics specialists, and coaches who can spot a 2-degree hip misalignment from across the gym. Recreational athletes, high school athletes, and self-coached adults have not. That gap — between what elite athletes know about their technique and what everyone else knows — is what SportsReflector exists to close.
We believe that better technique leads to better performance, fewer injuries, and longer athletic careers. We believe that AI can deliver this at scale, in real time, for every athlete on the planet. And we believe that the best coaching tool is one you actually use — which means it has to be fast, clear, and available on the device already in your pocket.
Every feature we build is evaluated against one question: does this help athletes improve faster and stay healthier? If the answer is yes, we build it. If it's a distraction, we don't.
Six principles that guide every product decision we make.
Every metric we show is grounded in biomechanics research. We don't guess — our computer vision model is validated against expert coaching assessments.
We don't just give you a score. We explain what's wrong, why it matters, and exactly how to fix it — in plain language.
Your training videos are yours. We never sell your data, never share it with third parties, and you can delete everything at any time.
From a 14-year-old learning to shoot free throws to a 55-year-old perfecting their deadlift form — SportsReflector is designed for every level.
We build tools for coaches too. The Coach Dashboard gives trainers the analytics and planning tools they need to run better programs.
AI analysis in under 3 seconds. We know you want feedback now, not after a 30-second upload and processing wait.
Frustration with existing single-sport apps sparked the concept for a universal AI coaching platform.
SportsReflector launched on the App Store with 6 sports and a basic form scoring engine.
Expanded to cover 20+ sports and 99 gym exercises, adding AR drill guidance and multi-angle analysis.
Reached 50,000+ active athletes worldwide, with a 4.8-star App Store rating and Coach tier for teams.
SportsReflector's core technology is a computer vision pipeline built on top of Apple's Vision framework and ARKit, combined with a proprietary biomechanics scoring model trained on thousands of expert-annotated coaching sessions. When you record a video in the app, the system identifies 33 body landmarks at up to 60 frames per second, tracks joint angles, velocity, and symmetry across the movement, and compares your technique against sport-specific and exercise-specific benchmarks.
The result is a 0–100 form score broken down into six to eight category-level scores — Form, Technique, Power, Balance, Timing, Safety, and sport-specific metrics like Release Angle for basketball or Hip Rotation for golf. Each category score is accompanied by specific, actionable feedback written in plain language, not biomechanics jargon. You don't need to know what "anterior pelvic tilt" means for SportsReflector to tell you that your lower back is rounding on your deadlift and that you should brace your core harder before the pull.
For Pro users, the analysis goes deeper: symmetry analysis compares left-side and right-side mechanics to identify imbalances that often precede injuries; biomechanical breakdown provides joint-angle data for each phase of the movement; injury risk flags highlight technique patterns associated with common sports injuries; and muscle activation maps show which muscles are being recruited and which are being underused. These features are the same tools used by sports scientists at professional teams — now available to any athlete with an iPhone.
Our AR Live Training mode uses real-time pose estimation to overlay movement cues directly on your camera feed as you exercise. The system counts reps automatically, provides on-screen form feedback during each repetition, and guides you through 150+ sport-specific and exercise-specific drills with step-by-step AR overlays. It's the closest thing to having a certified coach standing next to you, available anywhere, at any time, for a fraction of the cost.
