SportsReflector ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") respects intellectual property rights and is committed to protecting the copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property of our users and third parties. This Copyright & DMCA Policy outlines our approach to copyright protection and the procedures for reporting copyright infringement.

1. Our Intellectual Property

SportsReflector owns or has licensed the following intellectual property:

  • Drill Library: All sport-specific drills, training programs, and instructional content within the App
  • Computer Vision Technology: Our proprietary motion analysis algorithms and form evaluation systems
  • Branding & Design: SportsReflector logos, trademarks, interface design, graphics, and visual elements
  • Software: The SportsReflector App code, features, and functionality
  • Content: Educational materials, guides, tips, and instructional videos

All of these materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.

2. User-Generated Content Rights

When you upload videos, images, or other content to SportsReflector:

  • You retain all ownership rights to your content
  • You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload and share the content
  • You grant us a limited license to process and analyze your content solely for providing App services
  • You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any SportsReflector content, drills, or training programs without authorization
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our computer vision algorithms or proprietary technology
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or branding in any manner without prior written consent
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract drill library content for commercial use
  • Create derivative works based on our proprietary drill programs or training methodologies
  • Redistribute or resell SportsReflector content or features
  • Upload content to the App that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights

4. DMCA Notice & Takedown

If you believe that content on SportsReflector infringes your copyright, you may submit a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notice. Your notice must include:

  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The specific location(s) within the App where the infringing content appears
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate
  • A statement that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

5. Our Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice:

  • We will investigate the claim and verify its validity
  • If the claim is valid, we will remove or disable access to the infringing content
  • We will notify the user who uploaded the content of the takedown
  • We will comply with all applicable DMCA requirements and procedures
  • We will preserve evidence and maintain records as required by law

6. Counter-Notification

If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address
  • Identification of the content that was removed
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed in error
  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • A statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

Send counter-notifications to the same email address as DMCA notices. We will reinstate your content if we receive a valid counter-notification and no further action is taken by the copyright claimant.

7. Repeat Infringers

SportsReflector has a policy of terminating the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe on intellectual property rights. Users who receive multiple DMCA notices or engage in repeated copyright violations may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated at our sole discretion.

8. False Claims

Please note that submitting a false DMCA notice is illegal and may result in legal liability. If we determine that a DMCA notice was submitted in bad faith or contains materially false information, we may pursue legal action against the submitter, including claims for damages and attorney's fees.

9. Trademark Protection

SportsReflector owns or has licensed the following trademarks:

  • The SportsReflector name and logo
  • Associated branding, slogans, and design elements

10. Reporting Copyright Infringement

  4. Allow us time to investigate and respond (typically 10-30 business days)

We reserve the right to modify this Copyright & DMCA Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
