How to Film Your Tennis Serve Before Your Lesson

Film your serve from the right angle. Your coach will see your exact technique flaw.

How to Record Your Tennis

Record from behind the baseline (down-the-line): Shows your toss, arm path, and follow-through

Record from the side (perpendicular): Shows your posture, knee bend, and weight transfer

Record from the opposite baseline (facing you): Shows your toss height and contact point

Film 10-15 serves so your coach sees consistency

Use good lighting and a tripod for stability

What Your Coach Will Analyze

Your grip (continental, eastern, or western)

Your stance (feet position, shoulder alignment)

Your toss (height, consistency, location)

Your contact point (height, location, pronation)

Your follow-through (direction, finish)
