What to Record Before Your Basketball Shooting Lesson

Record your shooting form from the right angle. Your coach will see your exact shooting flaw.

How to Record Your Basketball

Record from the side (perpendicular): Shows your footwork, knee bend, elbow position, and release

Record from behind (down-the-line): Shows your shoulder alignment and follow-through

Record from above (high angle): Shows your head position and release point

Film 10-15 shots from various distances (3-pointer, mid-range, free throw)

Use slow-motion (120fps) to see your release mechanics clearly

What Your Coach Will Analyze

Your footwork (stance, alignment, balance)

Your knee bend (depth, consistency)

Your elbow position (tucked, flared)

Your release point (height, consistency)

Your follow-through (hand position, arc)
